The Polar F11 Heart Rate Monitor
The Polar F11 comes with a wrist worn display that communicates with the included fabric strap wirelessly. It uses a coded transmission to prevent the possibility of crosstalk between other Polar F11 heart rate monitors that might be nearby.

w a customized training program to be created and displayed on your watch. You are able to track your heart rate, fitness level and calorie burn as you work out using the Polar F11’s OwnZone, OwnCal and OwnIndex features.
Polar F11: Keeps U Fit
The device comes with Polar’s Keeps U Fit Workout program that customizes your exercise program. This allows the Polar F11 to monitor your performance and keep you informed on how much, how hard and how long you need to exercise to reach your goals.
The strap is completely adjustable and is to be placed around your torso just under your chest muscles. There are 2 electrodes on the back of the strap that should be moistened prior to use, and then placed against the skin. A battery connects to this strap to power the transmitter.
The Polar F11 will track your statistics over several workout sessions, holding up to 12 separate exercise sessions. The screen displays your current heart rate, the time spent exercising and your average heart rate. It will also track how long you’ve been in the zone, by marking the screen for every 10 minutes spent in the zone.
The fitness test will check your heart rate for 5 minutes and then provides you a baseline number. At that point you can choose to create a program that will either allow you to maintain, advance or even maximize your fitness level. As you progress through your program, when you reach 80% of your goal, it will display a trophy to celebrate your achievements.
Polar F11: Synchronize with other equipment
Additionally the watch will synchronize with a variety of exercise equipment, which allows you some flexibility with monitoring and not having to look at the watch all the time.
Once you’ve completed your exercise routine, you can connect the watch to your computer and download the data into Polar’s software. The software will help you analyze your workouts and continue to reach your goals. Using their online diary you can easily review your progress, how hard you worked out and it helps you to plan out a schedule.
